Mohanlal and Lijo Jose Pellissery’s film titled ‘Malaikottai Valiban’

The wait is finally over! Lijo Jose Pellissery’s upcoming film starring superstar Mohanlal in the lead role has got a title. As promised, the makers launched the title poster on Friday (Dec 23) evening. The film is titled ‘Malaikottai Valiban’.
Mohanlal launched the title poster via his social media handle and said, “Presenting to you the title of my upcoming movie with Lijo Jose Pellissery - 'Malaikottai Valiban' #MalaikottaiValiban.”

Lijo Jose Pellissery’s ‘Malaikottai Valiban’ also boasts a talented bunch of technicians. Award-winning cinematographer Madhu Neelakandan, who has also wielded the lens for Lijo Jose Pellissery's previous film 'Churuli' is part of the crew. Prashant Pillai will be handling the music department for the film. Deepu Joseph has roped in as the editor for ‘Malaikottai Valiban’. Award-winning production designer Gokuldas too is part of the crew. Ronex Xavier is the makeup man for the film. Sujith Sudhakaran, who won the National film award for best costume designer for his work in the National award-winning film 'Marakkar: Arabikkadalinte Simham' is part of the project.

‘Malaikottai Valiban’ will reportedly go on floors in January 2023. The team is planning to commence the shooting on January 10. Mohanlal will be joining the team, once the film starts rolling. ‘Malaikottai Valiban’ will be extensively shot in Rajasthan. And as per the reports, the makers are planning to complete the shoot in 60 days.
