Miya George on her dad’s demise: No one will take your love and memories out of our heart

Actor Miya's father George Joseph passed away last week (Sep 21) at the age of 75. Miya has now taken to her social media handle and penned an emotional note on her

’s demise. The actress began her note quoting a verse from Bible. “John 16:22 - Therefore you too have grief now; but I will see you again, and your heart will rejoice, and no one will take your joy away from you.”

Miya George poured out her heart in the note and shared that even though her dad has left this earthly abode, his love and memories cannot be taken away. “Yes Papa… No one will take ur love and memories out of our heart. We are broke and it's irreparable. The love u gave us throughout these years will be the driving force from now on… Miss u Papa ����❤️Thank u everyone for ur prayers ��,” she said in the note.

Meanwhile, Miya’s dad’s funeral was reportedly carried out on Wednesday (Sep 22). He is survived by his wife Mini, daughters Miya, Gini, and son-in-laws Lino George and Aswin Philip.

On the personal front, Miya George and husband Ashwin Philip welcomed their first child, a baby boy a couple of months ago. They named him Luca and the baby boy's baptism ceremony was held a few weeks ago.
