Miya excited about her heist-horror film
Actress Miya George has managed to essay a variety of characters with flair, be it the nun in Vishuddan or the bold doctor in Anarkali.
The actress is now shooting for her next Tamil flick titled Rum, a heist-horror, probably the first of its kind in Kollywood. The Memories actress is not allowed to divulge much about the plot of the film, but says that her character in the film is a very lovable one, and has a major role in taking the plot further.

Says Miya, 'I play Tulasi, a BSc student. It is my first experience with a horror film and I hope the audience will like me. The audience can expect a performance-oriented role from me in it.'
Malayalam actor Narain is also part of the film, and the actress is pretty excited about having a Malayali on the set. She says, 'I had met him only once before, at an event, but never had a conversation. As we are the only two Malayalis on Rum's set, we keep chatting in Malayalam all the time.'
Rum is directed by debutant Sai Bharath, and has Sanchitha Shetty and Vivek in the other prominent roles. And it is the first time she will be seen along with Vivek, she adds. 'He has been been part of around 500 films so far, and you don't get to act with such an experienced person every day. Despite being a prolific actor, he has no airs of being one. I am looking forward to shoot the scenes with him.' The film is being shot completely in Chennai. Meanwhile, Miya will be seen next in another Jeeva Shankar directorial venture, after Amara Kaaviyam. The film will be titled Yemen, and will have Miya playing the female lead opposite Vijay Antony.
