Alongside Malayalam actors, the superhero movie will also have Tamil actor Guru Somasundaram, who was part of movies like ‘Jigarthanda’ and ‘Joker,’ in the cast. Aju Varghese, Baiju, Harisree Ashokan and Femina George are a few of the other members of the cast. Samir Thahir is the cinematographer of the film, which has Shaan Rahman as the music director. Renowned action director Vlad Rimburg, who was part of movies like ‘Batman,’ ‘Bahubali,’ ‘Sultan’ and more has directed two important action sequences in ‘Minnal Murali.’
When the film’s set near Aluva temple that resembled a church and costed about Rs 50 lakh to put together, was vandalised on May 24, many from the film industry had criticised the right-wing group. The group had said that they demolished it as it was set up near the temple. Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan had also criticised the forces behind the demolition. Six men were arrested, levying the sections including communal harmony disruption and robbery, following the act.
