With new films hitting the big screens every week, it would be hard for a normal movie-goer to catch up with all the releases and the arrival of OTT platforms, with its cons aside, has indeed been a boon to such film lovers. The last month in the Malayalam film industry saw the release of several high-quality content-oriented films and this week most of them are gearing up for their OTT streaming. ‘Kuttavum Shikshayum’

There are several movies that are made to be watched on OTT platforms and Asif Ali’s ‘Kuttavum Shikshayum’ is definitely one among them. Rajeev Ravi’s directorial film is all set to stream via a popular OTT platform from June 24 onwards. ‘Kuttavum Shikshayum’ mostly got mixed opinions from the viewers due to its realistic approach to storytelling that might be a bit boring for those who paid their bucks to watch on the big screens. The viewing experience of this Asif Ali starrer would be much enhanced when watched on your home screens.

‘Meri Awas Suno’

Jayasurya starrer ‘Meri Awas Suno’ also falls under the category of movies whose entertainment value enhances when watched on home screens. Although the Prajesh Sen directorial gained mixed responses from the audience, the performances of the actors Jayasurya, Manju Warrier, and Sshivada got much adulation from the audience. ‘Meri Awas Suno’ will be available on the OTT platform from June 24 onwards. Tap into this film if you are a fan of simple feel-good movies.

‘Jana Gana Mana’

Prithviraj Sukumaran - Dijo Jose Antony’s ‘Jana Gana Mana’ started streaming on a popular OTT platform from June 2nd onwards. Unlike the movies ‘Kuttavum Shikshayum’, and ‘Meri Awas Suno’, ‘Jana Gana Mana’ is perfect to be watched both on big screens and on home screens as the film stand high on both making style and good content that can be even called pan-Indian worthy. Leave out all your doubts, and tap into this Prithviraj Sukumaran starrer if you are planning to have a mind-blowing film experience this weekend.

‘O2’

If you are an ardent fan of thriller movies, then the Nayanthara starrer Tamil film ‘O2’ is a must-add to your watchlist for this weekend. Apart from being a normal thriller, this GS Viknesh directorial film offers a breath of fresh air in this genre. As the name itself suggests, the story revolves around a group of bus passengers who are trapped in a do-or-die situation where everyone needs oxygen to survive. The film started its OTT streaming from June 17 onwards.
