'Mera Naam Shaji' teaser released

Mammootty launched the teaser for ‘Mera Naam Shaji’ and the short clip gives a glimpse of the comedy it is sure to be. Directed by Nadirsha, the three main characters in the film go by the common name, Shaji.
Asif Ali, who plays Shaji George, and Baiju, whose character is Shaji Sukumaran, find out that Biju Menon is also Shaji. When Asif Ali says it’s a good name, Baiju agrees and says, it is better than names like Baiju, Biju and Asif.
The film is set for an April 5 release and also features Nikhila Vimal, Sreenivasan, Ranjini Haridas, Kalabhavan Navas and Jaffer Idukki. Nadirsha’s earlier directorial ventures Amar Akbar Anthony and Kattappanayile Hrithik Roshan were hits.
