Meghana Raj is upbeat about the surprisingly huge response of Jeethu Joseph’s Memories. The actress essayed the role of Prithviraj’s wife in the movie.
“I believe Memories was one of the toughest yet perfect movies I have had in my career. I am thankful to Jeethu and Prithviraj for their support,” she says, adding, “I had met Jeethu at the location of one of my movies. I have always wanted to work with him, considering how brilliant a director he is.

So when he approached me for the role I was ecstatic, as it was a dream come true for any actress. And not to mention, Prithvi formed the pillar of the movie and was a very supportive co-star.”
The actress also has a handful of projects in her kitty now. She has just wrapped up the shoot of Rakesh Gopan’s 100 Degree Celsius — Part 1. Meghana has also signed up for two Kannada flicks, Raja Huliand Bahuparaak. “Raja Huli is the remake of the Tamil movie Sundarapandian, and I will reprise the role of Lakshmi Menon. Bahuparaak, which means Jai Ho, symbolically represents the journey of a man from birth to death, and I play the lead in the movie.”
However, Meghana is planning to go slow in Mollywood. “I am planning to go slow. Since I have two Kannada films in the offing, I will be doing a Malayalam project only later this year.”
