After its successful theatrical run, R Madhavan’s passion project ‘Rocketry: The Nambi Effect’ is now available on a streaming platform, and guess who watched the film of late! National award-winning actress
Meera Jasmine recently watched the film, and she is all praise for Madhavan, Simran, and the whole team and also former ISRO scientist Dr. Nambi Narayanan, on whom is film is based.
After watching the film, Meera Jasmine took to her Instagram account and posted a note that read, “Rocketry is an earnest niche representation of life in all its realness and it hits you very differently. Kudos to Madhavan, Vijay Moolan and the phenomenal team of this well-made movie for believing in the power of truth and translating it so beautifully on screen. Boundless respect to Nambi Narayanan sir.”
She further added, “What a defining portrayal of the presence that has anchored Nambi sir’s life. Simran you were phenomenal on screen. Thank You for the truth… Grace and unparalleled talent.”
‘Rocketry: The Nambi Effect’ has R Madhavan in the shoes of Dr. Nambi Narayanan, and he has also scripted and directed the film. Based on the life of former aerospace engineer Nambi Narayanan, who was falsely accused of espionage and later, after more than 20 years, was acquitted of all the allegations.
Meanwhile, Meera Jasmine and R Madhavan have worked together in the 2002 Tamil release ‘Run’ directed by N Linguswamy.
On the other hand, Meera Jasmine’s last outing was ‘Makal’, helmed by Sathyan Anthikad.
