In a note shared on Instagram, they said, “Save the date! #CUP in theatres from September 27th!” Directed by debutant Sanju V Samuel and featuring Namitha Pramod as the leading lady, the film includes a notable cast such as Guru Somasundaram and Anikha Surendran. Cinematography is by Nikhil S Praveen with music composed by Shaan Rahman.

‘Cup’ featuring Mathew Thomas and Basil Joseph in the lead roles is helmed by debutant Sanju V Samuel. The film is jointly scripted by Akhilesh Latharaj and Denson Durom. Namitha Pramod has roped in to play the leading lady in the film. Actors Guru Somasundaram, Anikha Surendran, Karthik Vishnu, Riya Shibu, Nandini Gopalakrishnan, Mrinalini Susan George, and Anand Roshan are also part of the cast.
On the technical front, the cinematography for the film is done by Nikhil S Praveen. Reckson Joseph is the editor. The music for the film is composed by Shaan Rahman.
On the other hand, Mathew Thomas’ recent outing was the blockbuster ‘Premalu’. He has some exciting films including ‘Lovely’, ‘Udumbanchola Vision’, and ‘Bromance’ in the pipeline.
