The clip had originally surfaced on the Instagram page Perumbavoor Stories. Unni Mukundan later sent the visuals directly to the Kerala Police seeking immediate action.
Police respond quickly to Unni Mukundan's complaint
The video reportedly showed young men allegedly injecting substances into their hands in public spaces. Some individuals were also seen carrying syringes. After receiving the clip, Kerala Police responded with a brief message. The response reportedly read, “Noted.”

According to the update later shared by Unni Mukundan, action followed quickly. By evening, the individuals seen in the video had reportedly been arrested. Unni Mukundan later shared screenshots through his Instagram stories after action was taken. While sharing the update, 'Malikappuram' star wrote, “Thanks to Kerala Police.” The actor's action received positive reactions across social media platforms.
Unni Mukundan opens up about his 'He-Man' connection
Meanwhile, on the professional front, Unni Mukundan recently shared another personal moment with fans. The actor announced that he would be lending his voice to He-Man in the Malayalam version of 'Masters Of The Universe'.
He shared the Malayalam poster of the project through Instagram. In another video, he was also seen taking out an old He-Man toy from his personal comic and toy collection.
Sharing his excitement, Unni wrote, "As a 90’s kid, He-Man was never just a character to me… he was strength, courage and heroism itself. Today, life has come full circle as I become the Malayalam voice of the very hero I worshipped growing up."
He further added, "Standing inside the dubbing studio and saying… “എന്റെ ഉള്ളിലുള്ള ആ ശക്തി കൂടി വാ.” “By the Power of Grayskull… I Have The Power!” …was deeply emotional and surreal. For a moment, I wasn’t an actor anymore… I was that little boy again, lost in the magic of He-Man. Dreams truly do come true."
