‘Marco’ box office collections day 5: Unni Mukundan starrer surpasses Rs 21 crores

From good reviews to making magnificent collections at the box office, all is well for the Unni Mukundan starrer ‘Marco’. According to the latest updates, the most violent Mollywood film has collected more than Rs 21 crores at the Indian box office.


As per the updates by the movie website Sacnilk, the action flick ‘Marco’ has collected Rs 21.70 crores from India. On day 5 the movie had minted Rs 3.65 crores as per the early estimates by the website.




Even though there are fluctuations in day-wise box office collections for the movie, ‘Marco’ seems to be holding well at the box office.


Audiences seem to be highly impressed with this high-octane action thriller which has delivered what it had promised. Even though the story may not be that impressive, ‘Marco’ surely stands high as one of the most violent movies ever made in Kerala or even in India.


The action flick had an overall 47.79 percent Malayalam occupancy on day 5 with morning shows at 38.06 percent, afternoon shows at 47.29 percent, evening shows at 44.77 percent, and night shows at 61.03 percent.


Starring Unni Mukundan in the lead as the titular character, ‘Marco’ is directed by Haneef Adeni and is the spin-off to the Nivin Pauly starrer ‘Mikhael’. Although it’s not certain whether both movies fall under the same universe, there are some references to ‘Mikhael’ in the Unni Mukundan starrer.


Along with Unni Mukundan, the Bollywood actor Kabir Duhan Singh’s magnificent performance is also getting much praise from the audiences.
