Maradu 357 drops post-production plans as ‘five personnel aren’t enough’

The permission for post-production work of films to resume came as a temporary relief for many in the industry. However, because this is applicable only in the

Covid-19 green zones

, only movies that have artistes and technicians at these green zones have been able to start work.

That’s a challenge faced by the team of

Maradu 357

, which was set to begin post production but dropped it due to issues in coordination and working with a team of just five personnel, says its director Kannan Thamarakkulam, who is currently in Kayamkulam.

“All of our artistes are at various places and also the crew at different districts. Co-ordinating them and bringing them together is a task and that’s why we are willing to wait further,” says the filmmaker.
