Manu in Shibin's directorial debut
'Friday' fame Manu will play a prominent role in debutant director Shibin Francis' film. 'How many kilometres from Miami beach to Washington DC?' As the title suggests, the film will be set in the US and the shoot will begin in March this year. 'A foreigner, an American citizen, and two Malayali youths are the main characters in the film. The two youngsters are sent to the US after they create certain troubles in Kerala. However, once they reach the US, they create bigger problems and are sent back. This forms the crux of the story,' says Manu. The lead actresses haven't been decided yet. Buzz is that Gauthami Nair will play an important role in the film. Manu, who also plays a prominent role in Lijin Jose's next, Monkeys, says he sports a different look in the movie. 'As soon as the shoot is over, I will start the shoot for Shibin's film.' Gregory, who acted in the Akkarekazchakal series, and Arun, an anchor-turned-actor, too play major roles in the film.
