Manu in need of a godfather

Tournament fame Manu says he has no one in the industry to give him the right advice. ���My debut movie Tournament was not a hit. However, I have no regrets about doing the film. But I wish I had a godfather. I work really hard on whatever roles I am offered. Later, when the projects don���t work out, I feel dejected.���
Manu was to do the lead role in Siddharth Bhara-than���s Nidra and did a lot of homework for it.The project, which was named Suhruthu earlier, even had posters of Manu and Rima Kallingal. But later, he himself opted out of the project as there ���were certain issues������. However, Manu has no complaints, and says everything is a learning experience. ���Now, I just do those films which I think I can do well, and don���t think too much about it.���
Manu���s next project is Lijin Jose���s Friday, where he plays a youngster called Muneer, a happy-go-lucky college boy, who is forced to take serious decisions in life. ���Friday was a film which interested me a lot. Somehow I feel I am not cut out for the typical masala roles.���
He will also be seen in Mahilarathnam by an NRI director Shibin Francis. ���It���s a suspense movie about a woman who seeks revenge,��� says Manu.
