‘Manjummel Boys’ director Chidambaram confirms his next film will be a Hindi gangster drama

After the success of the survival thriller film ‘Manjummel Boys’ Mollywood director Chidambaram is all set to make his Bollywood debut.

In a recent interview with Club FM, the director revealed that his Bollywood debut film will be a gangster drama movie. Chidambaram also revealed that the casting for the film is yet to be finalized.

Chidambaram’s untitled project will be bankrolled by the makers of ‘Ugly’, ‘Queen’, and ‘Hasee Toh Phasee’. The production house earlier announced the same via a Tweet that read, “Here’s to new beginnings We’re thrilled to commence a new collaborative journey with the immensely talented @__chidambaram__! He’s made his mark in the south with his unique vision and storytelling prowess, and we’re excited to work on his debut in hindi cinema! The expectations are quite high as the talented Chidambaram is making his Bollywood debut.


On the other hand, Chidambaram made his directorial debut with the comedy entertainer ‘Jaan. E. Mann’ which turned out to be a superhit. Chidambaram’s sophomore directorial venture survival thriller film ‘Manjummel Boys’ turned out to be a blockbuster.
