Chidambaram’s directorial ‘Manjummel Boys’ is creating waves at the box office. From becoming the first Malayalam film in Tamil Nadu to cross Rs 15 crore in 11 days, that too from 221 screens to setting a record of being the fastest film to gross Rs 100 crore worldwide in the history of Mollywood, ‘Manjummel Boys’ is doing the impossible.

On its thirteenth day, Tuesday, March 5, in theaters, ‘Manjummel Boys’ maintained its strong performance, earning an impressive Rs 4.10 crore in India net (early estimates), according to a report by Sacnilk. The film demonstrated a commendable 32.88% Malayalam occupancy on Tuesday, attracting a substantial audience even in its second week of release. By the end of the thirteenth day, ‘Manjummel Boys’ have raked in a net collection of Rs 55.79 crore in India, making the worldwide box office collection at an impressive Rs 103.48 crore. The India India gross stands at Rs 61.48 crore. The overseas collection has reached Rs 42 crore, which is crucial, as it clearly hints at the appeal, ‘Manjummel Boys’ has made on a global scale.

On Tuesday evening, the makers of ‘Manjummel Boys’ confirmed that the film has crossed Rs 100 crore in the worldwide collection.

Meanwhile, ‘Manjummel Boys’ is a survival thriller, featuring an ensemble cast that includes Soubin Shahir, Sreenath Bhasi, Balu Varghese, Ganapathi S. Poduval, and Lal Jr., among others.
