Manju Warrier’s ‘Lalitham Sundaram’ resumes shoot

‘Lalitham Sundaram’ featuring Manju Warrier and Biju Menon in the lead, has resumed filming. The team who had commenced the shoot in the second week of February had to put a temporary halt to it, considering the prevailing pandemic situation. The team resumed shooting two days ago and the filming is progressing. Makers announced the same through their social media handle.“Uncertainty ends. The family reunites. ‘Lalitham Sundaram’ progressing,” reads a note shared by the team.

Actor Saiju Kurup, who is playing one of the pivotal roles in ‘Lalitham Sundaram’ shared that he joined the team. Saiju clicked a picture with director Madhu Warrier and art director M Bava and shared it with his fans. “With director @madhuwariar and Art director Bawa chetan… #lalithamsundaram,” Saiju said, sharing the picture.

‘Lalitham Sundaram’ is an ambitious project for Mollywood’s lady superstar in many ways. Manju’s brother Madhu Warrier is donning the director’s cap for the first time through Lalitham Sundaram. The actress is backing the project. Also, she is collaborating with one of her favourite co-stars Biju Menon after two decades.
Directed by Madhu Warrier, ‘Lalitham Sundaram’ is backed by Manju Warrier and Kochumon under the actress’ production banner Manju Warrier Productions. Pramod Mohan, the director of 'Orayiram Kinakkalal, is crafting the screenplay for the film and P Sukumaran is the cinematographer. Lijo Paul has been roped in as the editor and Bijibal is in charge of the music department. Veterans Raghunath Paleri and Zarina Wahab are playing some important roles in the film.
