A while ago, Jayasurya had also revealed in an interview that so far, the most challenging character he has done is for this movie. His first look from the movie, which was released months ago, also had triggered speculations on its story line, after the film had gone on floors in the month of November, last year.
Samyukta Menon plays the leading lady in the movie, which apparently is about the unique past of an individual who lives amongst us. The supporting cast of Vellam includes actors like Dileesh Pothan, Siddique and Jaffer Idukki among others. Roby Varghese Raj is handling the camera, Bijith Bala the editing and Bijibal the music. Vellam is produced by Friendly Productions.
