Ennum Eppozhum, the actress will be seen as an IPS officer in Rajesh Pillai’s next.
The yet-to-be-titled film’s scribe Arunlal Ramachandran says that the actress as part of her “detailed research” is set to approach top woman IPS officers of Kerala — Nishanthini R and B Sandhya — in preparation for the role.
Interestingly, the

Incidentally, the psychological thriller’s initial plot only had two central male characters, set to be played by Kunchacko Boban and Jayasurya. “But it had an element missing and Rajesh and I thought there was space for a female character,” says Arunlal, adding that work has been on fast track since Manju came on board.
The writer, though, clarifies that it will not be a female-centric movie but one in which all the three characters will have equal prominence. The movie will begin filming from next month with Shan Rahman handling the music department and Bollywood cinematographer Santhosh Thundiyil cranking the camera.
