? laid the perfect platform for Manju Warrier’s comeback. Now, the duo is all set to collaborate again for an upcoming film, which is scripted by Unni R.

On the movie, Rosshan says, “It’s a woman-oriented film that has Manju in the lead. Anusree and Grace Antony also have extremely important characters in the movie. Apart from them, Alencier Lopez and Saiju Kurup are also part of the cast.”

Incidentally, the filmmaker was supposed to helm another big budget film after Kayamkulam Kochunni. “The scope of the film is similar to How Old Are You? and the upcoming movie touches on certain incidents that happen every day to women in Kerala in the contemporary society. I was busy with another project, but when I heard this story by Unni R, I wanted to do this immediately,” says Rosshan, adding that the film will go on floors on September 1.

Manju and Anusree’s characters work in a Kottayam-based textile shop in the movie. “The film will be shot in Kumarakom and we are planning to wind it up in a single schedule of 40 days,” says the filmmaker, adding that Sreekar Prasad in the film’s editor while Gopi Sundar is on board as the composer.

Manju, meanwhile, will also make her Tamil debut in Dhanush’s Asuran and is also part of Sanal Kumar Sasidharan’s film titled Kayattam.
