Manju Warrier pens an appreciation post for her mom

Manju Warrier, who is one of the biggest stars in Malayalam cinema, has often shared that she owes it all to one person - her mom. The actress is very much bonded with her mother and never misses to express her love and affection. Manju Warrier has now taken to her social media handle and posted an appreciation post for her mom Girija Madhavan. “അമ്മ ❤️ My biggest strength is that I'm a little piece of you.Proud of you Amma!!!” Manju Warrier penned, sharing a few pictures of her mother putting on the makeup for Kathakali performance.

It was in March, Manju Warrier's mom debuted in Kathakali at Peruvanam temple in Thrissur. “My SUPERSTAR proved it again! Thank you for always being an inspiration to all of us!!! For those of you who missed what's happening, my Amma got trained in Kathakali under Kalanilayam Gopi Aashan for the past two years and performed onstage with a group of most talented Kathakali artistes of Sarvathobhadram Kala Kendram! I'm so proud of you Amma! @madhavangirija ❤️,” Manju Warrier had said earlier, congratulating her mom on her successful debut.


Like daughter Manju Warrier, her mom Girija is also a multifaceted talent. During last year’s lockdown, Manju Warrier had posted a glimpse of her mom’s writing skills. “Everyone is gifted, but most people never open their package...! Meanwhile, on the work front, Manju Warrier had begun filming for ‘Vellarikka Pattanam’, wherein she will be essaying the lead role along with Soubin Shahir. The film went on floors in Mavelikkara, a week ago.
