Mamtha starts shooting for her Tamil film ‘Enemy’

has started shooting for a film in Tamil after more than eight years.

The artiste, who had last worked in Kollywood in the year 2012 through the movie ‘Thadaiyara Thaaka,’ directed by Magizh Thirumeni and starring Arun Vijay and Rakul Preet Singh, is now shooting for a movie titled ‘

Enemy

.’ The project, directed by Anand Shankar, is an action thriller that also features Vishal, Arya and Mirnalini Ravi in major roles.

Recently, Mamtha shared two photos from the film’s location in Dubai, and captioned them thus:

Sharing a pic of the crew chilling out after shoot, she wrote:
#enemy after-shoot hours in Dubai ... hangin’ out with director Anand Shankar, Producer Vinod, the very sweet Arya with whom I’m working for the first time, Karuna, stylist Pritha and Ofcourse Vishal after almost 15 years since Sivappathikaaram.

The film has music by S Thaman and cinematography by R D Rajasekhar. Prakash Raj is also doing a major role in the film. A few months ago, announcing the project, Vishal had written on his social media page:

Vishal tweeted, “It's final. My best friend @arya_offl is now my "ENEMY".We have no choice, except to fight it out in a battle of epic proportion. gonna be good. #ENEMY (sic).”

Arya too had written, “Can’t be Friends always. Ooo...Aaa U r my #ENEMY da. Really excited to face my #ENMEY @VishalKOfficial. Here’s the title of our next film (sic).”
