Mamta prioritises her job over family in her next
Mamta Mohandas is taking her own time to do projects of late. After playing the supporting role of a 'sweet and bubbly' medical student in Mammootty's Thoppil Joppan, the actress will next be seen as a professional based in the USA in Babysitter.
On the upcoming Rajeev Nath directorial, she says, 'The subject is a bit academic. It talks about modern day mothers who prioritises work over their families.'
The film, which will be shot in Washington, D.C., has her teaming up with Biju Menon who plays her husband.

'My character is all about her work and doesn't pay much attention to her family. So it's about how dysfunctional a family can be when a woman doesn't know her role in it,' explains Mamta.
The movie was initially scheduled to start filming this month. However, director Rajeev Nath informs us that a delay in processing the US visa has pushed the filming to late September. This though has opened window for the director to do another project in the meantime.
'I will be working on another project first. Director Ranjith, who will be doing a cameo in Babysitter, will be scripting the upcoming movie. We have finalised the storyline and he is now busy developing the script,' Rajeev Nath says.
