Mamta Mohandas' sultry voice is a perfect fit for Lalbagh song

The first video song, Rumaal Ambili, from Lalbagh was released on social media, and Mamta Mohandas’ sultry voice works perfectly for the melodic melancholic duet, sung with Zia Ul Haq. The music for the thriller, directed by Prasanth Murali Padmanabhan, is composed by Rahul Raj and weaves in some Arabic music notes. The lyrics for Rumaal Ambili are written by Ajeesh Dasan.
The song is mainly pictured on Mamta’s character, when she is thinking back to happier times. The Lalbagh trailer was released a month back and shows how a murder after a weekend party throws things into disarray.
