Mammootty’s Streetlights to hit theatres in Dubai a day before its India release

Mammootty’s much-awaited Streetlights, in which he plays a cop, will be released first in the UAE. It will hit theatres a day before it releases in Kerala, where the movie is scheduled to open in January 26.
This will be the second Malayalam film to hit theatres in UAE and India simultaneously. Prithviraj’s Vimaanam, which released in December, was the first to get a global release on the same day.
The Republic Day weekend will also see the release of Pranav Mohanlal’s debut film as a hero, Aadhi.The movie has him playing an aspiring music director and is directed by Jeethu Joseph.
