“Mammootty’s character in ‘Turbo’ has extra power," says writer Midhun Manuel Thomas

Amidst the anticipation surrounding the release of the upcoming Mammootty starrer 'Turbo', writer-director Midhun Manuel Thomas has unveiled intriguing details about the film's premise and its titular character.

Following the success of the thriller 'Abraham Ozler', Midhun Manuel Thomas is once again at the helm, crafting the script for 'Turbo', set to hit screens on May 23.



Talking to Lifenet media, Midhun Manuel shed light on the origin of the movie's title, explaining, "Like someone attached with a turbo engine, 'Turbo Jose' is someone who will have extra power. That's why we titled the movie as 'Turbo'."

Describing the film as an action comedy, Midhun Manuel Thomas hinted at the presence of over-the-top action sequences, introducing audiences to a hero with extraordinary abilities. 'Turbo' marks the third collaboration between director Vysakh and Mammootty, setting the stage for high expectations among fans.

With Mammootty essaying the role of Turbo Jose, the film promises a blend of adrenaline-pumping action and rib-tickling comedy. Following his recent venture into the horror genre with 'Bramayugam', audiences eagerly anticipate Mammootty's return to the screen in 'Turbo', expected to thrill them once again.

Meanwhile, Mammootty also has the most awaited upcoming game thriller movie ‘Bazooka’ directed by Deeno Dennis in the pipeline.
