Bheeshma Parvam is expected to be a 'mass' film that has Mammootty playing a gangster of sorts. On creating Mammootty's look for the film, stylist Rohit Bhatkar, who has worked with Dulquer Salmaan, Hrithik Roshan and Ranveer Singh earlier, had told us, "Amal sir had vision on what he wanted for the character. We had a series of discussions over the phone and he told me he wanted something very manly but something that Mammootty sir has not done before. Amal sir had requested Mammootty sir to grow his hair and beard out several months ago; he wanted to create a mafia gangster type of look and show a bit of grey to build up the character and make it look more dramatic."
