Mammootty to do his next film with ‘The Great Father’ cinematographer Roby Varghese Raj

The legendary actor Mammootty seems to stop at nothing and is on a roll with announcing ambitious new projects and is now actively participating in the shoot for his upcoming fifth installment of the CBI series which is tentatively titled ‘CBI 5’. According to the recent updates, the actor is said to have signed up for his next project with Roby Varghese Raj who worked as a cinematographer for Mammootty’s previous super hit film ‘The Great Father’. The reports say that it will be the first directorial venture of Roby Varghese Raj and actor Mammootty is said to have been roped in to play a major lead in the movie. Roby Varghese Raj did the cinematography for several films such as ‘Puthiya Niyamam’, ‘Captain’, ‘Thattumpurath Achuthan’, ‘Love Action Drama ’ ‘Vellam’ etc.

Mammootty’s film ‘The Great Father’ was written and directed by Haneef Adeni and was released in the year 2017. The film ‘Great Father’ was a humongous hit and director Haneef Adeni was appreciated by the audience for bringing back that Kickass avatar of Mammootty. The soundscore of the film was done by

and songs by Gopi Sunder. The cinematography for the upcoming film ‘Vaashi’ will be done by Roby Varghese Raj and the lead roles in ‘Vaashi’ will be played by actors Tovino Thomas and Keerthy Suresh.

Currently, Mammootty has completed the shoot for Lijo Jose Pellissery’s upcoming film ‘Nanpakal Nerathu Mayakkam’ and has joined the sets of the fifth and final installment of the CBI series- CBI 5. After completing the shoot for CBI 5 Mammootty will join the ‘Kettiyolaanu Ente Malakha’ fame Nissam Basheer’s next directorial film.
