Mammootty, Santhosh Sivan to team up for the first time?

Ace cinematographer and director Santhosh Sivan could direct Mammootty next year, if all plans fall in place. The National Award winner had apparently announced the project at SPYder’s audio launch last week.
Santhosh, however, has a few projects in the bag currently – first of which would be Mani Ratnam’s upcoming movie, which will go on floors in January 2018.The film has Arvind Swamy, Simbu, Jyothika and Fahadh Faasil in the lead.
The cinematographer had previously director Urumi and Ananthabhadram in Malayalam – both of which Prithviraj in the lead. He had also cranked camera for Mammootty’s Thalapathi and produced the actor’s recent release The Great Father.
