Mammootty resumes work, shoots for an advertisement
Since the end of February this year, Mammootty had not been working and was at his home following the Covid-19 protocols for the safety of his family and himself. Now, after almost 275 days, the actor left his home to take a round in Kochi with his friends from the industry a few days ago and the next day shot for an advertisement.
Production manager Badushah and producer Anto Joseph were among those who had accompanied Mammootty during his drive in Kaloor.

Badushah tells us, "It was the first time he had stepped out since the pandemic lockdown. We took a round of the stadium and stopped for tea. The next day he had also shot for an advertisement. Mammukka would be resuming shooting from January 2021 onwards but he hasn't decided which project he would be working on first."
Mammootty had finished shooting for his portions in Joffin T Chacko's The Priest before the lockdown was announced in March. The actor, meanwhile, has tail-end portions of Santosh Narayanan's The One left to shoot, which could be his immediate assignment.
He was set to begin the shoot of Amal Neerad's Bilal by mid March but the project seems to have been delayed for now. There have been rumours that the duo will collaborate for another project next year; however this has not been officially confirmed.
Mammootty has also signed K Madhu's film in the CBI Sethuramaiyer franchise and has another movie with debutant Ratheena Sharshad, which is scripted by Suhas and Sharfu.
