Mammootty pays tribute to the brave soldiers of Uri attacks

Mega star Mammootty recently paid tribute to the brave soldiers who lost their lives in the recent

Uri attacks

A minute of silence was observed for the soldiers where Mammootty also launched the audio of 'Thoppil Joppan.'

Mammootty began his speech by paying homage to the URI martyrs where actors Badusha, Kalabhavan Navas, Sadiq, Suresh Krishna, Sudheer Sukumaran, Mohan Jose and Reshmi Boban were also present. Actor Jayaram handed over a large replica of an audio CD to actor-director Major Ravi who is directing this project.

The music for the film is composed by Vidyasagar, and the movie will hit the screens on the 7th of October. Written by Nishad Koya, 'Thoppil Joppan' is the fourth release of Mammootty this year after 'Puthiya Niyamam', 'Kasaba', and 'White.'
