Mammootty starrer ‘Nanpakal Nerathu Mayakkam’ is finally in the theatres for the audience to enjoy. The Lijo Jose Pellissery’s directorial is receiving a thunderous response from the audience, and Mammootty has now penned a note, expressing that he is humble by the love being showered on the film.
Taking to his social media handle, Mammootty penned a note, that read, “Have been reading all your reviews of #NanpakalNerathuMayakkam. Truly Humbled at the love that has been pouring in ��.”

Directed by Lijo Jose Pellissery, ‘Nanpakal Nerathu Mayakkam’ tells the story of James, who returns to Kerala, from a Velankanni pilgrimage, along with his family. Mammootty, who plays James/ Sundaram has raised the bar yet again with his marvellous performance in ‘Nanpakal Nerathu Mayakkam’.
The film had its world premiere at the 27th International Film Festival of Kerala (IFFK) and the buzz it created during the festival has definitely made more audience book their tickets. As the film has entered the second day of its theatrical release, the footfall is only surging. The film is expected to pull in more audience, especially as the weekend is approaching.
Interestingly, ‘Nanpakal Nerathu Mayakkam’ also marks Lijo Jose Pellissery’s first collaboration with Mammootty, and it seems to have awed audiences and critics alike.
