Mammootty makes touching speech at wedding of Antony Perumbavoor's daughter

No wonder it is called the film fraternity. Antony Perumbavoor’s daughter Dr Anisha got married to Dr Emil in a grand celebration on December 27 and Mohanlal was present with his entire family, including wife Suchithra, son Pranav and daughter Vismaya. The actor spoke about his three decade long association with the producer during the celebrations, but then, Antony Perumbavoor posted a video collage from the wedding on his social media today, and it shows superstar Mammootty too, speak about feeling like a part of the family.

“This is a joyous occasion for me and my family,” Mohanlal said, speaking about his 33-year association with Antony. “This is like a celebration in my family… I am as happy as if it were my daughter getting married.” Suchithra too added that it “was one of the most important days in our family”. The star studded function saw the presence of actors, filmmakers and political leaders.

Superstar Mammootty attended the evening function, looking dashing in a black kurta and mundu, and ‘lockdown hair’ tied back. Speaking about how his relationship with Mohanlal went back over 40 years, he said, “I am delighted to be here on this happy occasion. As far as Lal is concerned, he thinks of Antony as a brother; and over the past 40 years, I have seen more of Lal than I have of my brothers, and he is like a sibling to me. So a brother to Lal is a brother to me.”

The music in the wedding video, Antony said, was written by his children Aashish Joe Antony and Adheena Vincent.
