Mammootty fans outraged at solar case allegations

A news website recently released a phone transcript, reportedly that of a phone conversation between Saritha S Nair — a major accused of the Solar Case — and Abdul Majeed, one of those cheated in the scam.
In the transcript, Saritha, under the name Lakshmi Nair, is quoted as saying that actor Mammootty is a “good customer” of hers, in reply to the complainant’s claim that he had connections with eminent people in Kochi, including Mammootty.A source close to the actor said sarcastically, “We don’t wish to take up this issue. This Saritha seems to know a lot of people.” Fans of the actor have reacted vehemently in the social media, saying that Saritha’s claims are false and outrageous.
