Helmed by Padmakumar, 'Mamangam' narrates the story of
Mamankam festival
that takes place on the banks of Bharathapuzha river. Shankar Ramakrishanan has crafted the screenplay. Mammootty essays the bravest warrior and Unni Mukundan plays Chandroth Panicker. Achuthan, a child artist is essaying the role of the 12-year -old warrior.
Prachi Tehlan is the leading lady and Kaniha and Anu Sithara are essaying pivotal characters. Slated to hit the screens on November 21, the multilingual movie is releasing in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu along with Malayalam.
