Mollywood superstar Mammootty is now gearing up for the release of his next thriller film ‘Rorschach’ and the actor is leaving no stone unturned in promoting the movie. It was during the promotional interview for ‘Rorschach’ where the actor confirmed that there are no plans in making a sequel to his superhit action entertainer ‘Rajamanikyam’.

Mammootty reportedly said in the press meet that there are several people who are asking for a sequel to ‘Rajamanikyam’. The ‘Rorschach’ actor reportedly said that there is no point in making a sequel to ‘Rajamanikyam’ as the full story has come to a circle in the movie itself. He also reportedly added that not every film demands a sequel and for a movie like ‘CBI’ there are high chances for it as it deals with a series of murders or different suspense-filled events.
Mammootty’s ‘Rajamanikyam’ was directed by the renowned filmmaker Anwar Rasheed and the film turned out to be one of the superhit films in the actor’s career. Mammootty played a character named Bellary Raja and the rest of the characters were played by the actors Rahman, Saikumar, Padmapriya, Manoj K Jayan, and Maniyanpilla Raju. The film was released in 2005.
On the other hand Mammootty’s psychological thriller ‘Rorschach’ is all set to hit the big screens on October 7. The film is helmed by ‘Kettyolanu Ente Malakha' fame Nissam Basheer and the script by Sameer Abdul who is best known for the films ‘Adventures of Omanakuttan’, and ‘Iblis’. Mammootty will be reportedly playing a scientist character named Luke Antony in ‘Rorschach’.
