‘Malayankunju’ Box Office Collection Day 3: Fahadh Faasil’s film earns Rs 5.6 crores worldwide

Although the Fahadh Faasil starrer ‘Malayankunju’ was reportedly taking it slow at the box office on its opening day and on day 2, the film has indeed made a quick jump to Rs 5.6 crores worldwide on its third-day theatrical run.

‘Malayankunju’ is a survival thriller directed by the debutant Sajimon Prabhakar under the script penned down by Mahesh Narayanan who also cranked the lens for the movie. Actors Rajisha Vijayan and Jaffer Idukki also played prominent roles in the movie.

Meanwhile, Nivin Pauly starrer ‘Malayankunju’ has managed to reportedly earn Rs 2.9 crores on its 4rth day. ‘Malayankunju’ received more positive responses from the audience than ‘Mahaveeryar’ as the netizens claimed the latter to be more confusing, especially in the second half of the movie. ‘Malayankunju’ majorly got positive feedback from the audience as most of them were impressed by Fahadh Faasil’s terrific performance coupled with AR Rahman’s magnificent music composition.
On the other hand, Prithviraj Sukumaran’s action entertainer ‘Kaduva’ is surely the winner among the recent releases in the Malayalam film industry. With the exact promotional works, the Prithviraj starrer already created hype among the audience, and reportedly the Shaji Kailas’ directorial film has raked in Rs 22.3 crores on its 18th-day theatrical run.
