Malayalam film fraternity to bring out nine micro films on Covid-19 awareness

To spread awareness on Covid -19 among a large number of people, Malayalam film fraternity has come forward to bring out nine micro films that propagate guidelines and precautionary measures to prevent the pandemic. The move has been initiated by FEFKA in collaboration with Indian Ad Filmmakers Association.
Director-Scriptwriter Leo Thaddeus who is part of the project tells us that the films will be based on the government directives on the things that we should follow in the coming two weeks to fight against Corona."The films will be below one minute duration. Those who are acting in it include Rajisha Vijayan, Muthumani, Anna Rajan, Johny Antony and Sidharth Shiva. The endorsement that comes at the end of the films will be given by Mammootty and Manju Warrier," he says. Apart from them, the films will be supported by filmmakers including Arun Gopi and Leo. "The films are directed by actor-ad filmmaker Sijoy Varghese, AK Vinod, Kumar Neelakandan, Appuni, Shelton and Praveen," he adds.
The team has completed the shoots of the films and it will be out by Monday. "None of those who have collaborated for this have taken any remuneration for this including the technicians and the equipment providers," he says adding that to shoot the films, they have opted for highly hygienic conditions and less number of crews.
