Malayalam actress assault case: Actor Nadirshah falls sick during the interrogation

Actor-director Nadirshah, the close friend and business partner of actor Dileep who is on remand alleging criminal conspiracy in connection with the actress abduction and assault happened in February 2017, fell sick at Aluva Police Club where the Kerala Police was supposed to question him as part of the investigation of the abduction case.

As per the reports, Nadirshah developed an uneasiness and a team of medical experts who examined him declared that he was unfit for questioning. The interrogation will now take place on another day, as informed by a police official.

Superintendent of Police A.V. George told the media “Nadirshah’s blood pressure and sugar levels showed variation. The questioning will now take place once he is fit,” he said.

Earlier this month, Nadirshah was asked to appear before the probe team for questioning and as he was admitted in the hospital, it was postponed. Later, he approached the High Court, seeking anticipatory bail. Hearing his plea, the court directed him to appear before the probe team on Friday. The court also directed the probe team not to arrest him till September 18, when the court looks into his anticipatory bail plea again.
