Malavika Mohanan starrer ‘Christy’ gets an OTT release date

Actress Malavika Mohanan impressed Malayali audiences with her performance in the recently released romantic drama film ‘Christy’. According to recent reports, the movie will be hitting a popular OTT platform from March 10 onwards.

Malavika Mohanan - Mathew Thomas starrer ‘Christy’ hit the big screens on February 17 this year and the film received mostly mixed responses from the audiences. The majority of the viewers complained about the script of the movie along with the average performances of the lead actors. ‘Christy’ did an average performance at the box office.

Helmed by the director Alvin Henry, the screenplay of ‘Christy’ was penned by the writers Benyamin and GR Indugopan. The story of the film was written by Alvin Henry and the movie’s plot revolved around the romance of a village boy named Roy with an older woman named Christy.

Apart from Malavika Mohanan and Mathew Thomas, the movie also featured the actors Rajesh Madhavan, Manju Pathrose, Joy Mathew, Sminu Sijo, Vineeth Vishwam, Neena Kurup, Muthumani, Sibi Thomas, and Veena Nair in significant roles.

On the other hand, Malavika Mohanan’s previous outing in the Malayalam film industry was with the Mammootty starrer ‘The Great Father’ which turned out to be a super hit.
