After a long gap, the actress Malavika Mohanan is coming back to the Mollywood film industry with the upcoming film ‘Christy’ and according to recent updates, the movie will be hitting the big screens in the month of February this year.

The young and talented Mollywood actor Mathew Thomas, who is playing the lead character in the movie, took to his official Facebook handle to unveil the poster for ‘Christy’. From the poster, it seems that ‘Christy’ will be a feel-good drama with some romantic elements.

The expectation levels are high for ‘Christy’ as the screenplay is penned down by the veterans Benyamin and GR Indugopan. Malavika Mohanan, during the announcement of ‘Christy’, penned down an Instagram note saying that she was really excited when the director Alvin Henry narrated the story of the movie to her during the pandemic time.
‘Christy’ is helmed by director Alvin Henry who is also penning down the story of the Malavika Mohanan starrer. Sajai Sebastian and Kannan Satheeshan will be bankrolling the movie ‘Christy’ and the music is composed by Govind Vasantha. Anend C Chandran is roped in as the cinematographer and the editing section is handled by Manu Antony. Sujith Raghav is the art director of ‘Christy’.
On the other hand, Malavika Mohanan’s previous outing in the Malayalam film industry was with the Mammootty starrer ‘The Great Father’.
