Renowned scriptwriter PS Rafeeque, known for his work in Lijo Jose Pellissery's acclaimed films like 'Nayakan' and 'Amen,' has once again collaborated with the director for the much-anticipated 'Malaikottai Vaaliban,' scheduled for release on January 25. In a recent promotional interview, Rafeeque expressed his belief that the film would introduce a vintage beauty to the Malayalam film industry.
Rafeeque highlighted, “'Malaikottai Vaaliban' will bring a vintage beauty to the Malayalam film industry. The film will be etched in the history books of cinema, presenting a significant opportunity for me to craft a script for the iconic superstar Mohanlal. 'Malaikottai Vaaliban' is entirely the creative brainchild of Lijo Jose Pellissery, and I contribute as a scriptwriter, providing him with the necessary materials to work on. Overall, 'Malaikottai Vaaliban' is set to make history in Malayalam cinema.”
Directed by Lijo Jose Pellissery, the period drama 'Malaikottai Vaaliban' promises a unique cinematic experience. Collaborating with composer Prashant Pillai for the original background score and songs, Pellissery has created a compelling narrative. Screenwriter PS Rafeeque has also lent his talent by writing lyrics for the film's songs.
Earlier during the shoot wrap up, Mohanlal said that 'Malaikottai Vaaliban' will be something that the Indian screens have never witnessed before.
On the other hand, Mohanlal has several highly anticipated projects in the pipeline for this year. Some among them are 'Ram', 'Rambaan', and 'Barroz'
