Mohanlal starrer ‘Malaikottai Vaaliban’ is all set for its digital premiere. The film, which was released theatrically on January 25, is set to stream on OTT. A period drama, ‘Malaikottai Vaaliban’ will stream on Disney Plus from February 23!
The OTT platform confirmed the digital premiere and said, “Here's the official trailer for Malaikottai Vaaliban! Catch Mohanlal and an amazing cast, including Sonalee Kulkarni, Hareesh Peradi, Manoj Moses, Katha Nandi, Danish Sait, and Manikandan Achari, in action. Streaming exclusively on Disney+ Hotstar from February 23rd!”

Helmed by Lijo Jose Pellissery, ‘Malaikottai Vaaliban’ featured Mohanlal in the lead roles. Actors Sonalee Kulkarni, Hareesh Peradi, Manoj Moses, Katha Nandi, Danish Sait, and Manikandan Achari played some of the supporting roles in the film.
Our critic rated the film 3 out of 5 and wrote, “Lijo Jose Pellishery's Malaikottai Vaaliban is a mixed bag of swift and interesting action scenes, epic frames, peppy songs, and quite some lag in the first half. In what can be termed a visual extravaganza, Mohanlal matches the energy and mystery behind the titular character. The film then veers towards emotional turmoil, exploring jealousy, misunderstandings, and obsessiveness. How friends can become foes and how people who walk the same path can turn on each other because of selfishness were all beautifully conveyed. While the basic story line, when you take Valiban out of the equation, isn't very original or even well defined, there are very interesting elements adding layers to it. The film has Lijo's name written all over it.”
