Makers of ‘Vellam’ unveils a surprise teaser of the movie on Jayasurya’s birthday!

While Malayali’s across the globe are celebrating Onam today, Malayalam actor Jayasurya is also celebrating his birthday! The versatile actor is enjoying the auspicious day with a special twist and now the makers of his movie ‘Vellam’ have unveiled a surprise teaser for him. ‘Vellam’ will feature Jayasurya in the lead and the recently released teaser is a glimpse of it. The teaser shows a village, where there is an old-style restaurant, and Jayasurya is seen lying down in front of the restaurant and it seems like he is high.

Mollywood’s ‘The Complete Actor’ Mohanlal has unveiled the teaser through his social media handle. Mohanlal also greeted the birthday boy Jayasurya while releasing the teaser.

Touted to be based on a true story, 'Vellam' is directed by G Prajesg Sen. As the director's earlier collaboration with Jayasurya for 'Captain' won the latter the state award for best actor, the expectations from 'Vellam' is huge.

Jayasurya and Samyuktha Menon are essaying the lead characters in the movie. Josekutty Madathil, Yadu Krishna, and Ranjith Manambarakkatt are producing the movie under the banner of Friendly Productions LLP.

On the technical side, Roby Varghese has roped in as the cinematographer and Bijith Bala is managing the edits. Ajay Mangad is the art director for the movie and Arun Varma is handling the sound design. Mafia Sasi is the action director for 'Vellam'.
