Makers drop a glimpse of ‘Malaikottai Vaaliban’ on Mohanlal’s birthday

Superstar Mohanlal is celebrating his 63rd birthday and wishes are pouring in from all corners. On the special occasion, maker’s of Mohanlal’s upcoming film ‘Malaikottai Vaaliban’ have dropped a video giving a glimpse of the film.
In the video, one can see the crowd moving sideways, as Mohanlal enters the frame, in a fierce avatar, pulling ropes, and it looks like he is participating in tug of war match.Mohanlal appears in a never-before-avatar in the glimpse and it is indeed the most lovely birthday present for the actor.
The makers wished Mohanlal on his birthday and dropped the video, which is titled ‘Glimpse of Malaikottai Vaaliban’.

‘Malaikottai Vaaliban’ is directed by acclaimed filmmaker Lijo Jose Pellissery. The upcoming film is undoubtedly one of the most awaited films in Malayalam, as the film marks Lijo Jose Pellissery’s first collaboration with Mohanlal. Scripted by PS Rafeeque, 'Malaikottai Vaaliban' reportedly revolves around a wrestler from Rajasthan. The film is touted to be a period drama.

The team had shot the lion’s portion of ‘Malaikottai Vaaliban’ in Rajasthan. They were filming in Rajasthan’s Jaisalmer for about 75 days, and completed the first schedule in April. If reports are to be believed the second schedule will begin soon in Chennai and the upcoming schedule might last for 40 days.

The film is expected to hit the big screens this year.
