'. The movie talks about the life of a Army officer and Dhanalakshmi’s eyes welled up as it had a lot of resemblance to her son's life.
In a video posted by 'Edakkad Battalion 06' team, Dhanalaskhmi is seen speaking emotionally about the movie, she said, "As a mother, I feel like giving a tight hug to Tovino Thomas. I see everyone out there in this world as my own children. While watching the movie I was reminded about my son and I can't stop praising the movie. Tovino has given a good performance."
Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan lost his life during the 26/11 terrorist attack at the Taj Palace Hotel in Mumbai. Saving the hostages and sacrificing his life, Sandeep was leading a team of NSG commandos. He was conferred with Ashok Chakra posthumously for his extraordinary courage.
Tovino Thomas was also overwhelmed by Sandeep Unnikrishnan's mother's response and the actor added that this is the biggest appreciation he has received.
Helmed by debutant Swapnesh K Nair, Tovino Thomas essays the role of an army officer. Samyuktha Menon is the female lead. Scripted by P Balachandran, the movie is bankrolled by Dr Shrikant Bhasi, Thomas Joseph Pattathanam and Jayant Mammen are bankrolling the project under the banner of Ruby Films.
