Mahesh Babu's 'Guntur Kaaram' storms Kerala theaters with impressive pre-sales of over Rs 2 Lakhs

Mahesh Babu's much-anticipated action flick, 'Guntur Kaaram,' has made a grand entry into Kerala theaters, garnering substantial pre-sales that have surpassed Rs 2 lakhs.

The film, directed and written by Trivikram Srinivas, has set a promising tone for its theatrical run, securing the second position in the top 5 direct Telugu releases for Kerala day 1 pre-sales, with the first position held by Mahesh Babu's earlier film, 'Sarileru Neekevvaru.'


As per information shared on the 'It’s Cinema' Twitter forum, 'Guntur Kaaram' accomplished a pre-sales business of Rs 2.35 lakhs in Kerala, signaling a strong audience response even before its official release. The film is scheduled to have 25 shows in Kerala, with a total of 1614 admissions.

The impressive pre-sales figures in Kerala suggest a high level of anticipation for 'Guntur Kaaram,' showcasing Mahesh Babu's enduring popularity and the film's potential to make a mark at the box office.

'Guntur Kaaram' unfolds the story of Guntur Karam, the reigning figure in the underworld of Guntur city. The narrative takes an intriguing turn as he falls in love with a journalist determined to expose the city's illegal activities. Thaman S is credited with composing the score and soundtrack, while Manoj Paramahamsa handles cinematography, and Naveen Nooli takes charge of editing.

The film boasts a stellar cast including Mahesh Babu, Sreeleela, Meenakshi Chaudhary, Jagapathi Babu, Ramya Krishna, Jayaram, Prakash Raj, and Brahmanandam.
