The actress will be seen in the film titled 'Ennittu Avasanam,' directed by '

Vikruthi

' director Emcy Joseph. The movie also has Anna Ben and Arjun Ashokan in major roles. The director tells us about the film, "

Ennittu Avasanam

is a feel-good film and we are planning to begin the shoot in February. Kerala will be the main location and we are planning the film as a mid-2021 release.” About Madhoo’s character, Emcy tells us, “She will be playing a bold, raw character in this film. We have seen her mostly in glamorous roles but this would be more on the realistic side. After a suggestion came from our production side that she would be suited for the role, we contacted her, presented the story and right away, she said she was excited to join the project.”

The director’s debut film 'Vikruthi' was based on the real-life instance of a deaf-mute man getting mistaken for a drunkard, while travelling on Kochi Metro. Is his second project too inspired by actual incidents? Emcy tells us, “Unlike 'Vikruthi,' this movie won’t be entirely based on a real-life event. However, it does have parts that are inspired by actual incidents.” The film has music direction by Sushin Shyam, script by the director himself and cinematography by Appu Prabhakar.

Madhoo had appeared as a celebrity judge in the dance reality show D4 Junior v/s Senior in Malayalam, in 2017. The actress also has the bilingual film 'Thalaivi' coming up, in which she reportedly portrays the character of Janaki Ramachandran.
