M-Town brigade experiments with moustache

Malayali men regardless of their age swear by their moustache, which for them is a symbol of manhood! A typical ‘Mallu’ guy is not comfortable sporting a clean upper lip. Needless to say, moustache is always in vogue in M-Town with the young and the old sporting it with pride. Of late, some of the young stars have been experimenting with different styles of moustache in their films.We take a look at some of the leading actors who are on an experimental mode.
The playboy of M-Town is seen with a horseshoe moustache in Driver on Duty helmed by Manoj Palodan of which the shooting is progressing at Thodupuzha. The actor plays the lone male constable in an all women police station.
The muscle aliyan of M-Town is known for his clean shaven look or stubble in his films. But in Lal Jose’s latest outing, Vikramadityan, where the actor is seen as a police-officer, he sports a handlebar moustache. Unni posted the look on his online page and wrote, “Meesha Meesha I had a tough tough time making that stay properly if u notice closely this pic, it’s haywire.”
Actor Anoop Menon, who is usually seen with a regular moustache, had to try out two get-ups in Lal Jose’s Vikramadityan. And he did experiment with his moustache to get his look right in the film. The actor wears a pencil-thin moustache for his character Vasudev Shenoy. On Facebook, he posted a picture and wrote, “Tough time pasting all those moustaches with gum. I salute Jagathi chettan who sported a variety of moustaches in various films, as easily as sticking a bandage. The funniest task with this moustache on is laughing.”
The star kid plays the lead in filmmaker Ranjith’s Njan. The movie based on T P Rajeevan’s novel, K P N Kottoor: Ezhuthum Jeevithavum will see Dulquer playing K P N Kottoor, the protagonist of the book. And for his role he sports a pencil thin moustache. While in his latest outing, Vikramadityan he was seen sporting a regular moustache.

The versatile actor of M-town never misses an opportunity to try out different looks in films. In Amal Neerad’s period love story, Iyobinte Pustakam, the actor will sport a handlebar moustache, for the first time.
