Manu Manjith is happy these days. The lyricist who completed six years in Malayalam industry expressed his happiness in writing songs for
Sibi Malayil's next movie which stars Asif Ali. The film is produced by filmmaker Ranjith.
Manu wrote on his social media page, " Some writing sessions are learning sessions itself... Blessed to be associated with one of the legendary movie makers in malayalam #sibi_malayil sir for a movie which is being produced by another iconic figure #ranjith sir...!!!!
❤️❤️❤️ (sic)."
Manu tells us that he feels extremely blessed writing for veterans like Sibi Malayil and Ranjith.
"It's a previlage and a great learning experience," he says.
The film has a lot of specialities as the movie reunites Ranjith and Sibi Malayil after two decades and Asif Ali and Sibi Malayil after Unnam. Ranjith and Sibi Malayil had earlier worked together in Summer In Bethlehem, Maya Mayooram and Ustaad. Asif had acted in Sibi Malayil's directorials Apoorva Raagam, Violin and Unnam.
Manu is also trying his luck in scripting now. The lyricist has co written Rakesh Mantodi directorial debut Varavu that features
Tovino Thomas in the lead.
Talking about taking the next leap in his career, Manu says, "In my film career, I have written maximum songs for Tovino's films. It is interesting that I am turning co-writer through a Tovino movie," he says.
